Trending Sheet Editorial is the institutional byline used by the team running Trending Sheet Australia. When an article carries this byline, a named editor has read the primary source material, confirmed the facts against it, populated the sources block, and approved the piece for publication against our Editorial Standards.

Responsibility for an article sits with the editor who signed it off. If we get something wrong, that editor is the one who fixes it, adds a dated correction note at the foot of the article, and flags the change at the top if the error was material.

The workflow under this byline is fixed. An editor finds the story in the day’s release calendar, pulls the underlying release or ruling, extracts the facts by hand, and writes the draft against that fact list. AI tools are used afterwards for copy editing, for the illustrative hero artwork, and for the voice narration on our short-form YouTube clips. The editor reviews every AI suggestion before it lands in the copy. The breakdown of what AI is and is not allowed to do on this site lives on the AI and Editorial Disclosure page.

The team covers the stories that reach an Australian household: interest rates and mortgages, electricity and gas pricing, Centrelink and Services Australia thresholds, ATO calendar steps, Medicare and health policy, Fair Work decisions, and state-level rule changes. Individual editors will be listed here with their own bylines and subject pages as the roster grows.
